How you’ll make an impact:

Senior Manager, Auto Remarketing reports to Director, Auto Remarketing Partnerships and will be responsible for supporting the independent dealer channel by managing new and existing partners, identifying new business opportunities, executing dealer marketing campaigns, and performing program management duties to meet established business objectives.

The Automotive Remarketing group plays a vital role in SiriusXM’s subscriber growth and the position requires business insight and strategic development on every project to meet goals.

The position will be based in Farmington Hills, MI as Remote Hybrid position and will be responsible for coming into the office for training and meetings as needed.

What you’ll do:

  • Grow SiriusXM’s subscriber base through strategic partnerships aimed at facilitating SiriusXM’s ability to provide vehicle owners with trials and subscriptions to the SiriusXM service.
  • Manage Automotive Remarketing programs designed to expose new owners of pre-owned vehicles to SiriusXM programming and grow SiriusXM’s subscriber base.
  • Research used vehicle industry to identify opportunities to partner with dealer service providers and/or large dealer groups to maximize market penetration.
  • Identify strategic targets and business partnership opportunities within the independent dealer channel.
  • Lead program launch activities with new Data Management Systems (DMS) and Dealer partners, ensuring plans are executed on time and meet objectives.
  • Monitor and report on performance and suggest improvements and alternative approaches based on quantitative results and qualitative feedback.
  • Partner with Marketing to create and implement promotional elements necessary to drive program growth including digital marketing, print advertising, direct mail, collateral/POS, training, and event marketing, with contributions to strategy as well as tactical implementation.
  • Collaborate with Leadership, Operations, Marketing, Field Teams and peers in developing, analyzing, and recommending strategic and tactical changes on the program. Including territory management across multiple regions.
  • Ongoing account management including partner communications, performance metrics and analytics, invoices and payments.
  • Assist in creating and managing performance budget, goals, and forecasting.
  • Provide Status reports and analytics on a timely basis.
  • Participate in team status meetings.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business, Marketing or Communications or equal relevant work experience
  • 5 years of professional experience
  • Experience leading complex projects and/or working with cross functional groups
  • Sales, new business development and/or corporate business experience in the areas of product sales or marketing, B2B sales, merchandising.
  • Experience in Automotive sector with an OEM, dealer, or dealer supplier is desired.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and ability to cultivate, negotiate and manage strategic business relationships
  • An aptitude for technology, business operations and program management
  • Engaging and highly effective interpersonal, communication and presentation skills that cultivate and grow lasting business relationships both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated track record of business development performance. Self-directed and motivated to deliver results.
  • Strong blend of business development with sales and marketing experience.
  • Exceptional project management, organizational skills and attention to details.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Works proactively, problem-solves, follows through on projects and manage expectations.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced and dynamic organization and lead projects with autonomy.
  • Commitment to “internal client” and customer service principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with staff at all levels.

Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project). Strong Excel proficiency required

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $50.00 – $60.00 per hour
