By taking pride in what you do, the Automotive Recon Analyst will examine, evaluate, and optimize all incoming and outgoing vehicles, collaborating with operations and purchasing along with assisting and overseeing the workflow of inventory.

Thoroughly examine and evaluate exterior and interior damage on vehicles. (mechanical and visual).
Maintain low cycle times for vehicle throughput.
Act as the liaison between Fixed Operations and Purchasing communicating the quality of incoming vehicles and expected repair costs.
Estimate the days of reconditioning expected per vehicle.
Create cost reduction while maintaining quality standards.
Work with the Reconditioning Manager to find ways to optimize the process.
Determine if vehicles are retail, wholesale or otherwise.
Create comprehensive estimates.
Assess and approve third-party estimates for vehicle repair work.
Transport vehicles to third-party providers.
Occasionally assist with vehicle photography workflow.
Contribute to additional tasks as they arise and complete within the timeframe provided.

Standard class 5 driver’s license. (Driver’s Abstract will be required prior to hiring).
Criminal Records Check. (Will be required prior to hiring).
Have above-average vehicle knowledge.
Ability to drive automatic and manual transmissions.
